I know I haven't blogged in forever. Put simply, life (and work!) happens. But there is not better time than to start back than with this session.

This young lady is one of my favorites. I adore her and I was absolutely thrilled that she asked me to be the one to photograph the most important day of her life! I couldn't imagine a better man for Emily than her handsome Blake and in just 365 days - one YEAR  from today - they will be married! You can feel their love as you scroll through these precious images we captured during their engagement session at Buffalo Trace Distillery.

I totally think they look like a royal couple strolling down the walkway here!

Didn't Blake do an amazing job picking out the perfect ring for Emily?!

They way the look at each other melts me and they ended up being my favorites of the entire session.

Kirsten + Brian got married on a beautiful, hot June day in the quaintest little open-sided chapel! And everything about their day was just as sweet and special.

 Kirsten was such a radiant bride. Her face was lit up like this all day long (as you'll see :))

First looks with Daddies are close to my favorite thing about wedding days. There is just something so special about a Dad and his little girl.

 But the mamas are equally special....

Kirsten and Brian both have a deep faith in Christ and to see Brian's groomsmen praying over him on his wedding day brought tears to my eyes....

 If you look closely you can see Kirsten picked FUNFETTI as her cake flavor ;)
