Meet the beautiful Julia!

Julia is a senior at Collins High School where she plays trumpet in their marching band! I loved having a chance to meet Julia and get to visit with her sister again, a former KGP senior! I know I've mentioned before how I love when my families come back, but it's never not true!

Hey, y'all!

Meet Jenna, a graduating senior this year from Collins High School! Jenna is the sister of one of my former seniors and I always love it and consider it a huge honor when families ask me back again for their siblings!

As you might be able to tell from this very first photo, Jenna is fierce, strong and so beautiful. Her plans after graduation include military service and trust me, she will be amazing! 

To showcase her unique style and beauty, we chose this incredible urban location that offered everything from cool graffiti walls to a fabulous balcony with an almost New Orleans Quarter vibe! I don't know that we could have chosen anything that would have suited her better!

Fair warning, friends: I'm probably going to cry typing this because I adore this young lady so much and she has such a place in my heart. 

Abby has been, since her early HS days, my practice model, my guinea pig, my girl always up for doing anything when it came to having her picture taken! And as she started bringing around her amazing boyfriend, who is now her HUSBAND (gasp!), he became my model, too. I photographed each of their senior sessions, their proms, their proposal, their family sessions and even way back when, a mock engagement! 

It was always known that Abby and her Brent would end up together forever, but I never imagined just how special it would be to witness her prepare for their wedding day. In true Abby fashion, she was more than willing to do a "test run" in her bridal gown and allow me the opportunity to take some Bridal portraits for her. And it's fitting that Abby once again was my first as I had never specifically done a Bridal session before. I think we captured the true beauty of Abby, the true beauty of a bride as she anticipates her marriage, and I hope these are as special to her and Brent as they are to me. 

I love you Abby + Brent Kidwell and I always wish you only good things and a lifetime of happiness. Thank you for allowing me to do this for you! <3

Let me introduce you to this amazing young woman. This is Taylor.

Some of you may remember Taylor as one of my beautiful past KGP brides. Since her wedding, she has also worked crazy hard and achieved her goal of graduating this past December with her nursing degree from the Eastern Kentucky University. That alone is a huge accomplishment to be celebrated, but as of the other day, it is official - SHE PASSED HER BOARDS - and is now a full-fledged RN! 

The icing on the cake is she has also landed her dream job of being a NICU nurse at the University of Kentucky! I am so so proud of this young lady and her work ethic and perseverance. I know she's going to be incredible at her job and be a blessing to so many wee babies and their parents!
